Users of large rubber moulding machines already require machine concepts with reduced working height. First of all MAPLAN already presents a corresponding concept at the exhibition “K 1986”. In the meantime there are a lot of solutions for reducing the working height on the market, but all these variations have disadvantages like too massive parts, a high quantity of moving parts, leakages, too long injection nozzles, …..

For this reason MAPLAN developed an ergonomically designed rubber injection moulding machine-series according to the new concept.

The clamping unit of the new machine-series presents a large-area backing of the mould and a low working height. Thereby it is not necessary to move the whole clamping piston/clamping cylinder and the sealing gaskets are not strained by high lateral loads at the accelerating- and decelerating phase. Due to the easy assembling and the low number of moving parts the clamping system is very fast and solid.

The new rubber injection unit presents a low height of the strip intake keeping the concept of the MAPLAN FIFO-system and the short nozzle. Therefore the MAPLAN ergo-series has the shortest injection process with the smallest pressure loss. The permanent cooled nozzle will not be uncoupled and therefore there are no leakages at this area. The result is an exact injection volume and a perfect repeat accuracy.

This machine-series with a clamping force of 2800kN, 4600kN and 6300kN is ground-breaking in production of high-precise parts.
