The rubber injection moulding machine control PC5000touch has a large clearly arranged Touch-Screen - display. The user surface is so generously and clearly implemented and most machine operators do not even have to take the working gloves off during the operation.

The main menu is subdivided into the following 3 sectors: machine setup, process control and configuration. The machine setup area supplies all information for the machine operator. In the segment process control the quality assurance can call up their information. Since the system can be configured by the user, is naturally available also a configuration menu. Thus the control surface can be optimally adapted to the individual needs of the customers.

Machine setup

The individual display screen pages establish a simple logical connection to the machine functions. Thus it is possible for the machine operator to work very efficiently with the machine. A further central element represents the integrated diagnosis, which indicates all relevant information in the status line. This information is available on each display screen page

As you can see from the picture, in the status line are indicated the current way of functioning, probable lining up alarms, as well as the current movement with possibly missing conditions. Further is available a bar chart over the hydraulic drive. With the help of the used symbolism as well as the competent representation provide both machine operators and setup- and maintenance staff very fast an overview of the current operating conditions of the machine. Process control

All used process parameters (set value) can be put down as prescription at the internal memory, on a USB stick or on a network drive assembly. Thus with a mold change the data are immediately again available. All set values changes are naturally logged and together with an alarm register represent an extensive register function.

Quality assurance and graphic evaluation are essential elements of an efficient production. The PC5000touch provides with the injection- and trend graphics an instrument for process monitoring and evaluation. Of course there is the possibility of exporting the recorded values to the super ordinate control system.

Configuration

An efficient MAPLAN control distinguishes itself by the possibility of configuring broad categories. Through the graphic cycle editor the machine running can be controlled. In addition are available up to 5 parallel step chains. The step progress is supervised in the diagnostic function "MAPLAN DIAGNOSTIC" and missing conditions are distinctly pointed out to the operator. To each condition / movement are available additional auxiliary information.

The Logical Movements give the possibility to adjust new movements or configure the heating-/cooling zones of the machine. Via the feature “user page” it is possible to adjust your own visualization page.

The access to the machine, through a properly user management, can be individually regulated. It can be assured that only authorized personnel makes changes at the process parameters.
